The school preparation camp

The school preparation camp was held on August 29th and 30th, 2011 for our future first graders at the Bilingual Section in our school. Zsanett Kiss and Dóra Horváth teachers were waiting for the students with playful activities. On both of the days the children were given a foretaste of school life, they were showed around our school and the teachers held short activities for them in connection with the different subjects. These two days were of great importance because the foreign students, together with the Hungarian students, also participated in the actitivities. This way they got acquainted with their future school and could make friends with the new milieu. Two new American teachers, Marielle Emond and Daniel Tirell, also helped us in our work. The small children gave them a warm welcome. It was a great experience for them so that they could meet the native speakers of English.
The two days passed by in good atmosphere. The children gained lots of new experiences and having made friends could prepare for the school opening ceremony.
